Mr. Morse has tried numerous jury trials and arbitrations involving personal injury, bad faith, fraud, and general insurance matters, resulting in an extraordinary trial record. Mr. Morse receives repeated requests from attorneys and insurers to sit as an arbitrator in a variety of matters. A good portion of Mr. Morse’s practice centers around his trial practice, but also includes many appellate decisions. Mr. Morse’s practice includes fraud investigations (primarily examinations under oath). Mr. Morse received defense verdicts in a wrongful death action involving the sale of alcohol, and in an automobile accident case with over $110,000 in medical expenses for three surgeries with admitted liability. He has tried cases, successfully, where the claimed damages were in the millions of dollars. Additionally, he obtained a plaintiff’s verdict with Marc Levy on behalf of an insurer when they obtained fraud judgments against a law firm and a chiropractic firm. Mr. Morse has been consulted by insurers on coverage matters involving class actions and damages in the tens of millions. Mr. Morse has had experience in a wide variety of areas since beginning practice in 1987. This experience includes complex commercial matters, multi-district litigation, international business matters and worker’s compensation. Since 1988, he has worked primarily in insurance related litigation including general torts, automobile accidents, insurance coverage, premises liability, products liability, first-party and third-party bad faith, construction defects, fraud, arson, and professional liability.

Mr. Morse was admitted to the bar in 1987, and is licensed to practice in all Colorado Courts. Mr. Morse received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984 at Purdue University and his Juris Doctor degree in 1987 from the University of Denver College of Law. He was a member of the University of Denver National Moot Court Trial Team and a Senator of the Student Bar Association in 1984-1985. Mr. Morse is currently a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association; a committee member of the Colorado Supreme Court Civil Justice Committee, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations’ Legal Fee Arbitration Committees, Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute.
